When the grants will be paid?

75 % of the grant will be paid after the Grant Agreement has been signed. The remaining 25 % will be paid after returning the final report with required attachments. Read more about the reporting here.

I got a grant from AIFF. How should I proceed?

First, you have to accept the offered grant within 3 months. After signing the grant agreement, you will be paid 75% of the grant. Following that, you can begin working according to the production plan and timetable. Once the production is finished, submit a final report and other required documents in the application portal.

Depending on the grant you have received, you must return the following documents and materials:

Do I have to be an experienced filmmaker to be an eligible applicant for AIFF’s grants?

The requirements are that you are an arctic Indigenous filmmaker, and if you apply for development and production grants, you also have to have a production company.
